Fall in love with the River Avon and the people fighting to protect it, the Bristol way!

Swimming in nature is not just a hobby for the people in our film, it’s a way of life for people from all walks of life.

The Guardian gave our film four stars; ‘Campaigning never looked so fun and friendly as it does in this joyous documentary about Bristol’s clean water campaigners’ ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Outdoor Swimming Society wrote ‘Rave On for the Avon is a beautiful new film … it explores the importance of rivers in modern life – all set to a Bristol soundtrack.’

Before the screening we will share a celebration of our rivers with the Goddess of the Wye and River Action (please come and join at 5pm, info here).

Stay after the screening for a Q&A with Director Charlotte Sawyer, Friends of the Thames CEO Laura Reineke, River Action's Chloe Peck and poetry from Mrs Meg Avon.

We are also excited to offer a competition to ticket holders. You can enter into a draw to win a RED Robe and 60L Waterproof Kit Bag (and many other runner up goodies).  Tickets have to be purchased by Wednesday 6pm 26th March.

You can watch my interview with the wonderful Picturehouse Green Screen programmer Felicity Becket below.
