A happy new year from Sonia, Aggie and me. We hope you have had a chance to rest, reflect on the past year and look ahead to 2025 with hope. We have been doing just that!
Â
Looking ahead, we have our first set of cinema dates booked. Many of them with Q&As where we will have the pleasure of hearing from people in the local campaign and swimming community. I hope to join them for a swim at their local swimming spots too!
COMING SOON to Liverpool, Southampton, Cardiff, Nottingham, and many more... Watch this space!Â
Can you help to spread the word?
Do you know people in those areas? Would you like to send them an invite? All our current screenings are up on the website and are listed as Facebook events and on Instagram. Word of mouth is what has helped over 1,500 people see the film already during our preview screening run and I can't wait to see how many more we can share that Bristol energy with!
Our hope is that this film will change the narrative on how we talk about protecting our rivers- that is done out of a deep connection with the river, rooted in love. Can you share this exciting message with people you know?! We would appreciate that so much!
Looking back with Patagonia.
Sonia, Aggie and I reflected on the successes of this year and what’s next at Patagonia’s lovely Bristol store where Emma, the Environmental Lead has been our biggest cheerleader, organising a screening at Bristol's Watershed Cinema and even commissioning an artwork by inspired by the film!Â
Â
You can catch our discussion on our youtube channel we discuss our highlights from the year, how making the film has changed us and we thank the many people and organisations that have helped us. If you stop by the Patagonia store on Park St where you can also nab a holographic sticker of the artwork by the incredible Evie Grace Illustrations.
Thank you for your continues interest and cheerleading. Let's keep raving to save our rivers!
